What is UltimatePro? UltimatePro started out as a custom program for the local National Weather Service. It is a complex terminal program that receives data from remote Peet Brothers Ultimeter II, 2000, 500 connected to a GPS enhanced TNC interfaced to a radio. The weather data is transmitted at programmable intervals over the airways. UltimatePro's job is to decode this data, display it, graph it, place it on a map, generate a HTML page, convert the data to N.W.S. HANDAR or METAR format, or whatever other custom output may be desired. These remote weather sites provide wind speed & direction, temperature, barometer, humidity, precipitation, etc... For more on the Ultimeter weather units visit Peet Brothers. The software works wonderful, as long as the remote sites stay up and running. If you would like to see what the N.W.S. is doing with UltimatePro (if the remote sites are working) , go check it out at www.wrh.noaa.gov/glasgow/Current.htm and click on Ft Peck Lake. With it's
built in FTP Scheduler, UltimatePro can create a web page with your local
area's latest weather and then upload it or the HANDAR or METAR
files to your site! *
Complete custom output formats available for a fee.
